Having a spectacularly boring day, I decided to be at the crazy ridiculous mode (as if I ever functioned in other modes, noh?) and flood my instant messenger contacts with this question:

What is love?

nightdreamer: huh so what happens when you dream of love? is that dream a better reality then?
f4wannabe: ahahahha….because you have sweet dreams but if your real life is sweeter than that then you are in love

nightdreamer: huh but isn’t hate like that too?
farrylisher: ok dagdagan natin (translation: ok let’s expand)
farrylisher: and give it whole-heartedly and expecting nothing in return?
nightdreamer: can’t you also hate wholeheartedly and expect nothing in return?
farrylisher: you can expect a fight after announcing you hate someone
nightdreamer: but what if that someone who hates you refuses to hate you back or at least fight back?
nightdreamer: that’s also nothing in return, right?
nightdreamer: and if you hate kris aquino do you expect her to pay attention to you?
farrylisher: well it depends on how you attack her
farrylisher: if you hit someone where it hurts.. they’ll fight back..
nightdreamer: doesn’t that work with love as well?
nightdreamer: if you hit someone where it hurts, they’ll love back?
farrylisher: bakit mo ba tinatanong? gagawa ka ba ng dictionary about love? (translation: why are you asking? You gonna make a dictionary about love?)
nightdreamer: is one not allowed to ask about love without making a dictionary about one?
farrylisher: or a tell all book about love. hehe
nightdreamer: yeah. is one not allowed to talk about love without making a book about love?
farrylisher: I’m not saying it’s not OK. I’m just speculating.
farrylisher: or joking.
nightdreamer: but not loving?
farrylisher: what?!
nightdreamer: you said you’re speculating. and then joking. but you deny loving?
farrylisher: speculating on why you are asking?
nightdreamer: is speculating on why one is asking about love what constitutes love?
farrylisher: I’m not asking about love you where the one asking?
farrylisher: or maybe you weren’t contented on what you know about love that’s why you are asking about it.
nightdreamer: can love truly be known?
farrylisher: well there are so many levels of love
nightdreamer: what’s that have to do with the question of if love can be known?
nightdreamer: and what are love’s different levels?
farrylisher: someone may like someone but for others like equates to love already
nightdreamer: what’s the difference between love and like?
farrylisher: I don’t know. I just based my answers on what I see
nightdreamer: is love seen?
farrylisher: You can see that through the person’s gestures, actions..
